Carso group The company was constituted like Grupo Galas, S.A., in 1980; 1981 it was transformed into joint-stock company of variable capital and in 1982 it changed his denomination by the one of Grupo Inbursa, S.A. of H.P. Between 1980 and 1990, the company acquired the United majority of the actions of Cigatam, Graphical Arts, Factories of Paper Loreto and Poor Peña (Lypp), Finery of Mexico, Sanborn Hnos. (Sanborns), Frisco Companies (Frisco), Industries Nacobre (Nacobre) and Porcelanite. The 28 of May of 1990, the company absorbed by fusion to Corporación Industrial Carso, S.A. of H.P., changing its denomination by the one of Grupo Carso, S.A. of H.P. and increasing its participation in Sanborns, Frisco and Nacobre. The 19 of June a positioning of action of Mexican Carso Group in stock-market of Values was carried out and the 20 of December of that same year, Carso Group, along with Southwestern Bell International Holding company Corp., France Cables ET Radio and a group of investors, acquired the control of Telmex, by means of public licitation. In October of 1991, Carso Group acquired 35% of the actions of Euzkadi.
